Founded by Marc Niehaus, the brand produces its cigars in one of Costa Rica’s finest manufactories using pesticide-free tobacco—naturally aged in the region’s volcanic climate—and complements these blends with carefully selected premium leaves imported from Nicaragua, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador.

With the expertise of Don Luis Santanas Lamass, former production manager of the H. Upmann cigar factory in Cuba, Vegas de Santiago achieves true world-class standards: it takes four years to produce a single Vegas de Santiago cigar. This time is essential to develop rich, full-bodied flavor notes as well as a perfect draw and even burn.
